Coronavirus (Covid-19) Information
UPDATE 6-1-2020
Well, things are starting to loosen up a bit and businesses and homeowners are starting to “get back to business”…and so are we. As an essential business, we never closed, but are coming back to pre-pandemic staffing. We have recalled all of our staff, though some of them are on staggered schedules for safety and proper distancing.
On-site repairs are becoming more commonplace, though honestly we prefer to do those repairs in our shop where we can control the environment and have better access to all our tech gadgets. But we do understand that due to timing or complexity you may need an on-site visit. Please know that if we come on-site that we are taking all the right precautions; keeping our distance, wearing face coverings, using hand sanitizer and gloves (by request). Watch the On-Site Visit Video Here.
If you will be bringing your computer to us for repair or upgrade, please contact us in advance so we can setup a ticket, take your deposit and remain “contact-less”. We have a dumbwaiter (or computer elevator) that runs between the 1st and 2nd floors. The access door is located down the main hallway between the front and back doors. Simply follow the instructions on the door to send the computer up. When the repair is complete, simply call us and we can send it down the same way. It’s actually kind of fun! Watch the Computer Elevator Video Here.
We will continue to offer remote repair services. We can connect to your computer from our shop and fix some of the things that may be wrong with it. We can’t fix everything, but it’s a great place to start. It can be more timely, takes less time overall and costs less! We even have the ability to see the video camera on your phone during a remote session so we can see what’s often hard to explain. Watch the Remote Repair Video Here. It’s from March 17th when things were tougher, but the process is the same. Note the green shirt in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day!

Surf free wifi safely using a VPN
A Virtual Private Network creates a safe connection between your computer and the internet so bad guys can’t see what you’re doing, including logging into your email, banking website or when you enter a credit card to buy something. You connect to free wifi and then launch the VPN service. From there, all your movements are encrypted and can’t be stolen. Totally worth it. Click the link to see the best ones for 2018.
